To be honest, I love this place and order at least once a week. I sometimes will receive a "messy" lunch but can look past the mess as slightly discouraging and enjoy my meal. However this time I had to post... I still have 4/5 stars because like I said, I love this spot and will continue to order and support Hawaii. But to place a hot roll with a cold roll...... y'all can do better.
I'm a sushi and poke bowl fanatic. So naturally I had to try this place! From the photos of other reviews, the fish looked like it was great quality. I tried this place out for a Friday afternoon lunch. I ordered the spicy salmon don. It consisted of white rice, fresh seaweed, and slices of avocados. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. The salmon tasted fresh and the spicy level was just right. This was priced at $14, and I believe this was reasonable but I've seen other poke bowl places that has this same portion for $2 less. I gave this a four star instead of five because of the location. It was in downtown Las Vegas and if you're a vegas local you'd know you need some courage to gallivant in that area. I was by myself and felt uneasy but as soon as I got my food I marched on out of that area. In the future, I would definitely order ahead and quickly pick it up. This place is a definite try if you love casual sushi and poke bowls!
My favorite place to order sushi during the work week. One of my co-workers got me hooked. It's fast delivery, great sushi and great service! The Philly roll is one of my favorites!
I ordered their Spicy Salmon Don & Tamago Nigri. They were delicious. The salmon wasn't as spicy as i thought it would be. The fish is very fresh. The Spicy Salmon Don came with avocado, takuan, and seaweed salad and of course white rice. I'll definitely be coming back.
Omg the food is amazing, fresh and delicious. Also the cuts are so big which makes it a million times better. I love it and I'm going to keep getting food from there.
Love this spot and I live close by so I come here often. This is a carry out location only but it is my go to spot for sushi at home. I love the sashimi, nice thick's cute and their fried sushi is absolutely insane. I love the one with beef in it but my boyfriend prefers the tuna or salmon, all good if you ask me!!! Also not to be overlooked are stuffed tofu skins! My favorite is with the imitation crab, it's such a great balance! Prices here are very good and my only complaint isn't necessarily with the place but a few times I've ordered on Uber eats my order has gotten canceled after waiting 1.5 hours. I should have known since this place is normally really quick but it did make me mad enough that I boycotted here for awhile. This isn't the best freshest most technical sushi you'll ever get, but it's a great price with solid portions and you'll get your sushi fix!
I am Thankful for 808 Sushi, Saving me again. I ordered Sake 18 Piece Salmon Sashimi from 808 and Braddah Dean never fails. Thank you 808 for Dinner tonight saving me from not cooking dinner tonight. Aloha
I love sushi so much, I could eat it multiple times a week. Sometimes I do! 808 is located in the Lucky 3 ghost kitchen, with pickup and delivery options. They recently started offering a "sushi happy hour" with discounted rolls from 3-6:30PM, where you can save a few bucks. Their prices are already reasonable and fish is super fresh, good sized rolls too. I've been by twice now- once for their sashimi salad (giant portion, great ginger sauce) and the Lahaina roll (perfect for salmon lovers), and most recently for their HH promo (007, candy cane, and island special rolls). I plan to try their appetizers and nigiri next time. They also have bento box style combos and rice bowls with teriyaki beef, garlic chicken, etc for those who don't want fish. Service is quick and friendly, and even though everything is takeout, they do pay attention to presentation unlike other places!
